OV SinatraTM introduces new line of sunglasses bringing old values, modern style, and high quality Italian eyewear options to a notoriously choosy market of accessory shoppers.

In a constantly evolving accessory industry, many of the best ideas come from frustrated consumers. With a mutual interest in fashion and a discerning taste for only the finest quality of products, partners Michael Sinatra and Matthew Weaver and creative partner Mike Wente, designed a line of eyewear they personally wanted to wear and share. Each partner brings a unique skill set to the table as well as a unique frustration with the current options in the luxury sunglass market. The team had noticed that many of the current luxury eyewear companies had abandoned quality in their plastics, hinges, and lenses, relying on a designer label alone to justify a $300 price point. Many of the trendy sunglasses looked great in the case, but did not flatter most faces. After years of research, the OV Sinatra team has designed an answer… sunglass styles that meet their criteria for style, quality, and most importantly, appeal to consumers with a variety of face shapes and sizes. The most important factors in establishing the launch line were that the sunglasses be made with the highest quality products found exclusively in Italy, and also that they LOOK as good on as they feel.

Packaging for Sinatra SunglassesWith these goals in mind, the “Dressmaker” (female launch style named in honor of the company’s inspiration, Michael’s great grandfather, famed 1930’s Italian/ American couture dress maker Ottaviano Sinatra) and the “Gatsby” (unisex launch style named to celebrate the frame’s qualities of rich style and classic elegance with a big flare) were born. The weight of each frame was carefully calculated to provide sturdiness but to not apply pressure on the bridge of the nose or behind the ears. Both styles are created from unique acetate offered in both a handsome tortoise shell brown and a distinguished black. Each pair proudly bears OV’s signature double stripe on the left stem making a distinct, yet subtle statement only noticeable to those familiar with the brand. Unlike polarized lenses, OV Sinatra sunglasses boast UV 400 cr 39 lenses to not distort vision of LCD screens as used in flat screen TVs, automobile dashboards, monitor displays, cellular phones and IPads.
